Stu Newman has played and appeared with a variety of notable artists such as Siouxsie and the
Banshees, Nina Hagen, Nona Hendrix, Sly Geralds (former Al Green, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz), Lenny Kaye,
the Waitresses, the Hooters, Bob Peters (former Gloria Estefan), Dana Jared (of the Wilson Pickett band),
Joy Ryder, and the Gas House Gorillas. He has performed throughout
New York City at many major venues such as Irving Plaza, Knitting Factory, BB Kings, CBGB and
Webster Hall. Along with Gary Setzer, Stu was a founding member of the legendary rockabilly band,
the Roustabouts. Recently, he has been performing in southwest Florida with artists such as
Nexx Level, IPA, Vida Loves Donnie and the Andy Pursell Band.
